14 Dec : Shuler recently played Joseph Pulitzer in the reading of a new stage adaptation of Disney's 1992 film musical Newsies which starred Christian Bale. Music is by Alan Menken. More at Playbill and BroadwayWorld. He's now set to play the lead role in the January reading of a new musical called Buddy's Tavern. Again, Playbill and BroadwayWorld have all the info. 20 Nov : Shuler is amongst the performers taking part in an Award ceremony honoring librettist Thomas Meehan (Young Frankenstein, Producers) which will take place on Monday, 22 Nov at The Racquet & Tennis Club, Park Ave, NYC. 26 Oct : First performance of That Hopey Changey Thing tonight! 20 Sept : Shuler is doing a play at The Public Theater in NYC called That Hopey Changey Thing - great cast, written and directed by Richard Nelson. Dates are October 26 – November 14, more info here & here 8 Aug : Last day today for Shuler in the YF Tour, when the show plays its final 2 performances at the Pantages Theatre in LA. 7 Aug : This year's Shuler Hensley Awards will have a repeat broadcast tomorrow, from 1-2pm on WSBTV, Atlanta. 26 July : Following After.Life's limited release (which includes the UK's Film4 FrightFest next month) the movie will be available on DVD at Amazon.com from 3 August and at Amazon.co.uk from 6 September. 27 June : Shuler returns to the Young Frankenstein tour on Wednesday, when the show opens in San Francisco. 19 May : Playbill has exclusive photos of the Paradise Found cast : "cast member George Lee Andrews and producer Andy Sandberg snapped the troupe from boarding at Newark International Airport to London excursions to backstage at the theatre." 18 May : Shuler is back on the London stage! The world premiére of Paradise Found holds its first performance at the Menier Chocolate Factory tomorrow! 13 April : The 2010 Shuler Hensley Awards, celebrating excellence in high school musical theatre, will be held tonight at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, Atlanta Ga! more 8 April : Rehearsals are now underway in Manhattan for Paradise Found - keep an eye on the show page for updates - the latest are links to some great rehearsal photos on Broadway.com and Playbill. 5 April : A date for your diaries - the 2010 Shulers will be broadcast by WSB-TV Channel 2 on Saturday 26 June from 8 -10 pm. 23 March : After.Life will be released in the US on 9th April in select theaters only. 16 March : It's almost time for The Shulers!
