Filmed October 2001 at
the Park Performing Arts Center, Union City, New Jersey.
Its creators
hoped the show would "prove to be a definitive version of the story, rich
in emotional subtext and with the clearest and deepest characterisations
of Frankenstein and his Creature yet experienced.
"Using the latest
digital video technology, a fully-produced version of the show will be
captured to create something rather unique in the theater world - a film
of a new stage musical."
Starring Shuler as Frankenstein's
Creature the film also stars Ivan Rutherford (Shuler's protagonist
Jean Valjean from the Broadway Les Misérables) as Victor
Frankenstein.
NB. This is a "demo"
of the show designed as a showcase for potential producers, and is not
available for purchase.

And NB: it now seems that due to the
upcoming release of the 2007 Cast Recording, the original Demo
Recording featuring Shuler is no longer available. (December
