Shuler's acceptance speech :

"Thank you. Thank you very much. This is indeed an honour, and a huge surprise. I would just like to first of all thank Trevor Nunn and Susan Stroman, who are the best in the business as far as I am concerned, and it was a true joy for me to do this with them. And the cast.....Oklahoma! is by definition an ensemble show, and everyone in it is extraordinary. Thank you so much."

 

The Bronze Laurence Olivier Award was commissioned by The Society of London Theatre from the sculptor Harry Franchetti and represents the young Olivier as HenryV at The Old Vic in 1937.
