PLOT : Picking up several years after the first film, 'Legend' finds Alejandro, a.k.a. Zorro (Antonio), and Elena (Catherine) married with a 10-year-old son, Joaquin. Zorro continues to protect the poor and oppressed residents of the California territory. But when he tries to foil the nefarious plans of prominent land barons and businessmen who are trying to undermine the new statehood of California, Zorro suddenly finds his own family in danger.

Antonio Banderas : "It's a little bit more mature than the first movie. It still keeps the adventure feeling and it keeps us with a hero, which is I think fundamental for Zorro. But it’s a little bit more mature. It’s more based in jealousy and concepts that are more for us than for kids. In the first one the first hour is comedy, making the character very clumsy and awkward. There will be comedy in the second part but the movie is quite serious. It goes a bit deeper - it is more adult and more mature, which is interesting for me."

Shuler  : "The Legend of Zorro comes out the end of October, the 28th. That's the sequel to the first Zorro, 10 years later. Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, their child has grown up and is now 10 years old. And I play the Pinkerton Detective from the United States government who, along with another detective, tries to blackmail them into helping the United States government. So I get two good fight scenes with both of them, and of course they both kick my ass, but it was fun doing them!"
